Launch of Green Liquid Nitrogen, First Third-Party Certified CO 2 -Free Gas, and Its Adoption by Tamatsukuri Helping to Reduce Environmental Impact in the Steel Processing Field

Nippon Sanso Corporation sells Green Liquid Nitrogen,CO₂-free industrial gas carrying third-party certification, backed by a long-term off-site corporate power purchase agreement (PPA) for renewable electricity with Mitsubishi Corporation Clean Energy. The product has been adopted by Tamatsukuri Co., Ltd., a company engaged in steel plate cutting and processing. Green Liquid Nitrogen uses renewable energy to substantially offset the CO₂ emissions associated with the production and transport of liquid oxygen, liquid nitrogen, and liquid argon, and its emissions-reduction methodology has received third-party certification based on international standards, ensuring the credibility of its environmental value.
As the steel industry faces growing pressure to decarbonize across its supply chain, this initiative has been recognized for helping reduce the environmental impact of processing operations. Tamatsukuri’s adoption of the product is expected to help reduce CO₂ emissions in its manufacturing processes and enhance the added value of its environmentally conscious products.
