Transportation of Low-Environmental-Impact Cylinders

Nippon Sanso in Europe (Norway) is reducing the environmental impact of cylinder distribution by combining lower-emission logistics solutions with fleet modernization. Approximately 50% of cylinder transport is now carried out by rail, significantly reducing CO₂ emissions compared with road transport. At the same time, the company has introduced two biogas-powered trucks and a fully electric crane truck for daily deliveries. This investment responds to growing customer demand for emission-free logistics, especially from public and municipal organizations, while also helping improve urban air quality. Together, these measures represent a practical step toward cleaner, more future-ready transport operations.
