Nippon Sanso Holdings Corporation (Head Office: Shinagawa-ku, Tokyo; President CEO: Tadaharu Watanabe) announces that Nippon Sanso Matheson Korea Co., Ltd. (Head Office: Asan, South Korea; "NSMK"), its operating company in South Korea, has completed the construction of a new electronics materials manufacturing facility in the Inju area of Asan, Chungcheongnam-do, South Korea. An opening ceremony was held on September 3, 2026, marking the commencement of operations at the new plant.
The new facility is NSMK's second manufacturing site in Asan, following its existing plant in the Eumbong area. It was established to strengthen NSMK's production and supply capabilities for semiconductor specialty gases and electronic materials products in response to the continued growth of the semiconductor market.

1. Background
Demand for electronic materials used in semiconductor manufacturing continues to increase, driven by the ongoing expansion of the semiconductor industry. In response, the Nippon Sanso Holdings Group has been strengthening its manufacturing and supply capabilities for electronic materials, particularly in the Asian market.
At the newly opened Inju Plant, NSMK has established an integrated production system in conjunction with its existing Eumbong Plant. The new facility is also equipped with infrastructure designed to support future business expansion. Through the establishment of the Inju Plant, NSMK will enhance its supply capabilities not only for semiconductor specialty gases, including diborane (B₂H₆), but also for newly developed electronic materials products, enabling the company to better meet the growing demand from semiconductor manufacturers in South Korea. The Inju Plant will also serve as a key manufacturing base supporting the continued growth of the Nippon Sanso Holdings Group's electronic materials business.
